These sleek, agile cats are built for speed and hunting prowess, making them one of the most iconic predators of the savannah. Cheetahs are the fastest land animals on Earth, capable of reaching speeds of up to 75 miles per hour in short bursts. Their bodies are built for speed, with long, muscular legs and slender frames. Their spotted coat provides excellent camouflage in the savannah grasses, allowing them to move unseen as they stalk their prey.

Despite their impressive speed, cheetahs are not the most powerful predators in the savannah. They rely on stealth and strategy to catch their prey, often taking advantage of the cover provided by trees or rocks to get close to their target. Once in position, they will make a sudden burst of speed to catch their prey off guard, using their sharp claws to take it down.
